Privacy Policy
Alle Motoronderdelen B.V. processes personal data of customers and visitors of our webshops allemotoronderdelen.nl, dominator-exhausts.nl and dominator.nl. This statement explains which data we process, why we do so, who we share it with and what rights you have.

Which data do we process, and why?
We only process data we actually need. Each purpose has its own legal basis:

Under data protection law an IP address counts as personal data. We therefore treat it with the same care as your other data.
Who do we share your data with?
We never sell your data. We do engage parties who help us provide our services. We have made agreements with all of these parties about the security and confidentiality of your data.
- 123-webhost.nl — hosting of our webshops and e-mail.
- Meetanshi — technical management and maintenance of our webshops. This party is based in India and may have access to customer data while carrying out its work. For this transfer we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission.
- Mollie — payment processing. Mollie processes your name, address and payment details.
- Payment providers for pay-later or instalment arrangements — if you choose one of these, the payment agreement is concluded directly between you and that provider. They are then responsible for the processing of your data themselves and apply their own privacy statement.
- DPD, PostNL and UPS — delivery of your order. They receive your name, address and contact details.
- e-Boekhouden.nl and our accountant — our administration and bookkeeping.
- Google — statistics, advertising and reviews. See the section on cookies.
- Marktplaats, 2dehands and bol.com — if you order through one of these platforms, we receive your order and contact details from them in order to handle your order. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own privacy statement.
In addition, we may be required to share data with government authorities, for example in the context of a tax or criminal investigation.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some of the parties we engage are established outside the European Economic Area, or process data on servers outside it. This applies to Google and to our technical maintenance provider in India. For these transfers we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission or on the Standard Contractual Clauses, so that your data remains protected there as well.
Cookies
Our webshops use cookies. We distinguish between three types:
- Necessary cookies make the website work, for example for your shopping basket and to keep you logged in. We always place these; no consent is required for them.
- Analytical cookies are used to measure how visitors use our website, via Google Analytics.
- Marketing cookies are used to display advertisements and measure their effect, via Google Ads.
We only place analytical and marketing cookies after you have given your consent via the cookie notice. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through that notice, and you can delete cookies that have been placed through your browser settings.
Reviews
We collect reviews through Google. If you leave a review, Google processes your data in accordance with Google’s own terms and your review is displayed publicly. We have no influence over which data Google displays in doing so.
How long do we keep your data?
- Invoices and administration: seven years, on the basis of the statutory tax retention obligation.
- Customer account and order history: for as long as you use your account. If you have not placed an order or logged in for five years, we delete your account.
- Correspondence with our customer service: two years after it has been dealt with.
- Data from cookies: the retention periods applied by the party concerned; for Google Analytics a maximum of fourteen months.
If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so, with the exception of data we are legally required to keep. Your invoices will therefore be kept until the end of the statutory tax retention period, but we will delete your account and profile.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- have the processing restricted;
- receive your data in a commonly used file format, or have it transferred;
- object to processing based on a legitimate interest;
- withdraw consent you have previously given.
Send your request to info@dominator.nl. You will receive a reply within one month. To prevent misuse, we only send data to the e-mail address known to us. If you would like to receive it at a different address, we may ask you to prove your identity.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. Our webshops use a secure connection (SSL), access to customer data is limited to staff who need it, and we have concluded data processing agreements with our suppliers.
Automated decision-making
We do not take decisions about you on the basis of automated processing that have legal consequences for you or otherwise significantly affect you.
Submitting a complaint
If you are not satisfied with the way we handle your data, please let us know at info@dominator.nl. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). If you live in another Member State of the European Union, you may also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your own country.
Changes
We may amend this privacy statement. You will always find the most recent version on this page. If a change affects the way we process data we have already collected, we will inform you about it by e-mail.
